Abstract

Society and criminal justice systems consciously and unconsciously tend to undervalue, mistreat, dismiss and even blame the victims of a criminal act, generating an alteration in their emotions and ways of behaving, an affectation that is sometimes more traumatic than the act. per se. The research is based on a precise analysis of the theoretical-doctrinal criteria on secondary victimization and its behavior in the crime of lascivious abuse in the municipality of Ciego de Ávila in the period 2022, to determine the factors and mechanisms that contribute to this phenomenon takes place and thus be able to reduce it and prevent it from continuing to occur. Theoretical methods necessary for the development of the research were used, such as historical-logical and analysis-synthesis, and at the empirical level, observation and content analysis were used, in exhaustive analysis is carried out of its incidence in the Avilian territory in the crime of lewd abuse in the year 2022, determining factors and consequences that it causes, analyzing the victim care systems, the relationship of the judicial system with victimization. secondary school and the main barriers that victims face.
