Abstract

Related Rights are interrelated with Copyright, based on the fact that both are part of Intellectual Property. These related rights grant protection to those who, without being authors, contribute with creativity to make the work available to the public. Other subjects that are part of the regulation of this right are highlighted, such as publishers, promoters, disseminators of non-radio digital media that raise the ostentation of the work or the concrete letter to expose it. The purpose that is defended incurs in the doctrinal foundation of the need of a robust regulation of the Related Rights in the Cuban Law 154 of 2022. Theoretical and empirical research methods are used for this purpose. With the elaboration of this research work, results of interest were obtained, both for academics and operators of the Law, in order to provide the theoretical-legal elements of the Related Rights. It is distributed in two chapters, the first one dedicated to the theoretical-doctrinal analysis of Intellectual Property and the second one, which deals with the legal treatment of Related Rights in Cuban Law 154 of 2022.
