Abstract

The selection of teaching-learning media in the contemporary educational landscape is a strategic process that drives the effectiveness and relevance of education in recent years The integration of contemporary technology is presented as a central element in the selection of educational media The objective of this research is to study the integration of ICT in education. In this work, the curriculum is studied, the characteristics of educational digital resources and their impact on education. The research concludes that the integration of technology in education are means that contribute to learning, electronic devices, interactive platforms, multimedia resources make learning look more attractive for students of different educational levels. Digital resources offer a series of advantages that are very useful in education, multimedia makes learning look more attractive with images and videos, another point in favor is interactivity, promotes active learning and student participation, accessibility and flexibility allow that students can learn about a topic of interest among others.
