Abstract

This work was developed with the objective of visualizing the administrative-business function at present, in which the importance of generating knowledge that allows feedback to all those involved and learning from the experience is framed. Whatever the origin of the knowledge is: tacit or explicit, if it is properly managed, it will generate efficient and effective results to the process, this in the external form; but it must be taken into account that the company itself, consciously or not, generates internal knowledge that has to be used for continuous improvement. It is obtained as a contribution the factors in which the management of knowledge in an administration has an impact and emphasis is made on the vital importance of corporate awareness to encourage, motivate, collect and store knowledge in organizations and form an invaluable active intellectual capital.
