Abstract

Through the development of this research is intended to demonstrate the interrelationship between science, technology, society and knowledge management, from its origins to its evolution to the present time, and also assesses the historical moments for humanity in which it has had greater impact and have provided advantages and disadvantages to different lifestyles according to the chronology of man from the primitive period, the agricultural period, the Greco-Latin antiquity, The importance of the studies is emphasized and the objective is to approach the general and particular aspects that define each one, to then specifically specify the management of knowledge as a means of development that generates great contributions to labor productivity and its influence at the present time. As a result of this work, valuable theoretical referential contributions and how in practice they have been valued in the Ecuadorian context are provided as a result of this work.
